Pali, Rajasthan. The National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), Pali Centre, operating under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, successfully organized its first-ever Job Fair at its Mahaveer Nagar campus in Pali. The initiative marked a significant step towards enhancing employment opportunities for youth in the Marwar region.
The Job Fair saw participation from more than 10 reputed companies, including Paytm, Axis Bank, V5 Global, Safari Manufacturing Ltd., Teamlease Services Pvt. Ltd., Spectrum Talent Management Ltd., Siddhi Infonet India Pvt. Ltd., Vivo (Radhe Amrit Creation), and others. Candidates benefited from recruitment drives, interviews, and career guidance sessions conducted by industry professionals.
The event was graced by dignitaries such as Sh. Prem Raj Nogia (TDM, BSNL Pali), Sh. Sandeep Singh (AGM, BSNL Pali), and Sh. Sunil Rajpurohit (Manager, India Post Payment Bank), who motivated the candidates and highlighted the growing demand for skilled manpower in the digital economy.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Gupta, Executive Director, NIELIT Rajasthan, emphasized that such initiatives play a crucial role in improving employability and income-generation opportunities for youth. He informed that NIELIT Pali is offering training in emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Data Science, IoT, Web Development, Database Management, and programming languages such as C/C++ and Python.
Sh. Kamlesh Kumar Samota, Centre In-Charge, NIELIT Pali, expressed satisfaction over the successful conduct of the event and reiterated the institute’s commitment to youth empowerment through industry-linked training and placement support. He also shared that registrations are open for O Level, A Level, CCC/CCC+, and various employment-oriented courses. Under the SCSP and TSP schemes, several courses are being offered free of cost to SC/ST candidates.
A total of around 150 candidates registered, out of which more than 50 candidates were shortlisted for further recruitment processes. The Job Fair concluded with a strong message of collaboration between industry and academia, reinforcing NIELIT Pali’s mission of skill development and employment generation in the region.
